SELVA TEENEK WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTER

In the tropical east region of La Huasteca, in the State of San Luis Potosí, due to the increasing forest loss to produce more cattle to export, and lack of wildlife crossings, many animals lose their homes and families, get badly injured and sick.

In the wildlife rescue center Selva Teenek, we support financially and technically medical treatments, surgeries, food, rehabilitation and release of anteaters monkeys, jaguars, deer, macaws, porcupines, kinkajous, turtles and many other species.

All this huge effort is completely developed with a well planned and successful program of environmental education that is brought to several villages and towns in the region and far beyond. We are convinced that without integrative education and sustainable development there is no true conservation.
